Dr. Yoav James Eisenberg

Veterinarian | Co-Founder of  HemoPetix (Vetsource Israel) 

 

Born in Israel, Dr. Yoav James Eisenberg pursued his veterinary studies at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest, Hungary. Upon graduation, he moved to Sweden to practice as a veterinarian before continuing his journey to the UK. There, he gained experience in various clinics and completed an internship at one of the largest veterinary hospitals and oncological centers in the country.

During his time in the UK, Yoav discovered his true passion for emergency medicine and joined VetsNow, an out-of-hours emergency veterinary service.

After years of professional growth, Yoav decided to return to Israel with his partner in both life and work, Dr. Shai Shelly Eisenberg. Together, they settled in Kibbutz Dan, located in the Upper Galilee, where they co-founded Vetsource, a veterinary blood bank. Vetsource quickly became the largest of its kind in Israel, serving the entire veterinary community across the country.

Now, Yoav and Shai are embarking on a new journey to establish the Central European branch of Vetsource - Which will be labeled as HemoPetix in Bulgaria. Their goal is to serve the rapidly growing veterinary community in Bulgaria and its neighboring countries.
